A Note on Our Suitability Ratings —— The Principle of Final Dose Contribution

The nutritional data presented for each ingredient in this Codex is based on its 100% concentrated, powdered form.

The resulting high values for certain minerals, such as Potassium, reflect the material's potent, unadulterated state.

However, our suitability ratings ("Recommended," "Use with Caution," etc.) are not based on these raw numbers.

Our verdict is exclusively determined by the 'Final Dose Contribution' (FDC) of the ingredient within a standardized 100g Fuzzywuzzycare therapeutic meal, where the total inclusion of all vegetable powders does not exceed a strict 1% (1g) limit. For example: A powder with a "Very High" Potassium rating of 6000mg/100g, when used at a 0.2% inclusion rate (0.2g), contributes only 12mg of Potassium to the final meal. This amount is considered negligible and therefore SAFE for a "Low Potassium" renal diet.
